Anushka Shetty’s ‘Ghaati’ to Release in Theatres in July 2025; Striking New Poster Unveiled

South Indian superstar Anushka Shetty is all set to make a powerful return to the big screen with her upcoming film Ghaati, slated for a theatrical release in July 2025. The makers unveiled a gripping new poster today, generating immense buzz among fans and the industry alike.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vivek Athreya, Ghaati is described as a psychological thriller with intense emotional layers, showcasing Anushka in a role unlike anything she’s done before. The newly released poster features Anushka with a haunting expression, draped in shadows, with a backdrop of misty hills and blood-red skies — a chilling visual that hints at the film’s dark and suspenseful tone.

This marks a significant comeback for Anushka Shetty, who has taken on more selective roles in recent years. Known for her powerful performances in blockbusters like Arundhati, Baahubali, and Bhaagamathie, Anushka appears poised to deliver yet another memorable act in Ghaati.

In a brief statement accompanying the poster release, Anushka said, “‘Ghaati’ is a story that challenged me in many ways. It’s not just a thriller — it’s a journey into the mind, into fear, and into truth. I’m very excited for audiences to experience it on the big screen this July.”

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Ghaati also stars Naveen Polishetty in a pivotal role, adding a unique dynamic to the film’s narrative. The music is composed by Ghibran, who is expected to elevate the film’s tension with his haunting score.

With the theatrical release set for July 2025, fans can expect the trailer to drop sometime in late June. The new poster has already set the internet abuzz, and with Anushka Shetty at the helm, Ghaati could very well be one of the year’s most anticipated thrillers.

Stay tuned for more updates on Ghaati as its release draws closer.
