Akshay Kumar Shares Update on Jolly LLB 3, Says Working with Arshad Warsi Was “Total Fun”

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has finally given fans a much-awaited update on the third installment of the Jolly LLB franchise. The actor, who is reprising his role as the sharp-tongued lawyer Jagdishwar Mishra in Jolly LLB 3, confirmed that the film is well underway and praised his co-star Arshad Warsi for bringing unmatched energy to the set.

Speaking during a media interaction while promoting an upcoming project, Akshay said, “Jolly LLB 3 is shaping up wonderfully. Working with Arshad again has been total fun — the guy is a powerhouse of talent and humour. Our courtroom battles have turned into laugh riots off-screen too!”

The third film in the courtroom comedy-drama franchise marks the first time both “Jollys” — Arshad Warsi from the 2013 original and Akshay Kumar from the 2017 sequel — share screen space in the same narrative. Directed once again by Subhash Kapoor, Jolly LLB 3 promises a clash of ideologies, legal tactics, and plenty of comedic tension between the two iconic characters.

Akshay added, “It’s not just a legal drama this time — it’s a legal face-off. Fans are in for a rollercoaster of entertainment. The script is sharp, relevant, and hilarious. I’m really enjoying shooting this one.”

Arshad Warsi, too, recently shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the shoot on social media, calling it “a surreal moment” to return to the black coat alongside Akshay.

Produced by Fox Star Studios, Jolly LLB 3 is currently being shot across multiple locations including Bhopal and Delhi. The film is expected to hit theatres in early 2026.

With both actors known for their comic timing and strong screen presence, the film is already one of the most anticipated comedies of the coming year. Fans can expect a witty courtroom drama filled with satire, emotion, and, of course, some classic Jolly-style chaos
