Lady Gaga to Release New Track “Dead Dance” for Netflix’s Wednesday Season 2

adminBy adminAugust 5, 20252 Mins Read

In a thrilling announcement that has sent fans of both pop music and gothic horror buzzing, Lady Gaga is all set to release a brand-new track titled “Dead Dance” for the highly anticipated second season of Netflix’s hit series Wednesday. Known for her theatrical style and genre-blending brilliance, Gaga’s involvement is expected to elevate the eerie, offbeat atmosphere of the Addams Family spin-off to chilling new heights.

Netflix confirmed that “Dead Dance” will feature in a pivotal episode of Wednesday Season 2, where Jenna Ortega returns as the deadpan, sharp-witted Wednesday Addams. The track, composed and performed by Gaga, is described as a dark-pop anthem with haunting orchestration, macabre lyrics, and a powerful beat — perfect for a new iconic dance scene to follow the viral “Goo Goo Muck” sequence from Season 1.

Sources close to the production say Gaga was personally approached by showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who believed her artistic sensibilities aligned perfectly with the show’s tone. “She’s the queen of theatrical expression and darkness with style,” said Gough in a recent interview. “’Dead Dance’ is not just a song, it’s a mood — and Wednesday embodies it completely.”

Lady Gaga also shared a cryptic teaser on X (formerly Twitter), posting a shadowy image with the words: “Time to wake the dead. #DeadDance #WednesdayAddams”, which quickly racked up millions of views.

Fans are now eagerly awaiting the full track and its eerie visuals, with speculation that Gaga might even make a cameo appearance in the show as a mysterious new character connected to Nevermore Academy’s shadowy secrets.

Wednesday Season 2 is expected to premiere on Netflix in early 2026, and with Gaga’s “Dead Dance” poised to become another cultural moment, the wait just became even more electrifying.
