Ranveer Allahbadia Flies Abroad After India’s Got Latent Row: “Passport Mil Gaya”

adminBy adminApril 29, 20252 Mins Read

Popular YouTuber, entrepreneur, and podcast host Ranveer Allahbadia, widely known as BeerBiceps, has flown abroad days after finding himself at the center of controversy linked to the reality show India’s Got Latent. Amidst the social media storm, Ranveer took to Instagram to share a smiling selfie at the airport with the caption, “Passport mil gaya ✈️.”

The controversy erupted last week after an episode of India’s Got Latent aired, featuring a heated exchange between Ranveer and fellow judge Ananya Rathore regarding a contestant’s performance. Clips from the show quickly went viral, with many netizens accusing Ranveer of being “dismissive” and “biased.” Hashtags like #RanveerRow and #LatentControversy started trending on X (formerly Twitter).

Following the backlash, rumors began circulating that Ranveer’s passport had been withheld due to an alleged formal complaint filed with the channel’s legal team. However, sources close to the YouTuber confirmed that no such action had been officially taken. “There was some internal review, but no travel restrictions were ever legally imposed,” said a person familiar with the situation.

Ranveer, known for his calm demeanor and self-improvement advocacy, initially stayed silent on the matter, choosing not to escalate the online chatter. But his recent Instagram Story — “Passport mil gaya” — seems like a cheeky response to those speculating about his movements. He later posted a brief message thanking his fans:

“Thank you to everyone who’s supported me. New beginnings always come after storms. Heading out to learn, grow, and come back stronger.”

Although Ranveer hasn’t revealed the destination, insiders suggest he is traveling to Singapore and Dubai for a mix of business meetings and personal downtime.

Meanwhile, India’s Got Latent producers have issued a statement emphasizing that the show remains committed to “providing a platform for all kinds of talent without bias” and mentioning that internal reviews are routine. They did not comment directly on Ranveer’s future with the show.

For now, Ranveer’s departure signals a much-needed break and a possible reset. Whether he returns to India’s Got Latent remains unclear — but one thing is certain: Ranveer Allahbadia is determined to keep moving forward, no matter the turbulence.
